Pulse Healthcare’s iPoint Version 3.0

Having a user base of over 5000 users (at August 2009), iPoint v3.0 is a complete ground-up re-creation of the Pulse iPoint web application, by Pulse Healthcare, which is currently used in a number of NHS Trusts for managing Shift, Vacancy and Staff ordering, Online Timesheeting, Invoicing and Reporting.

iPoint has three main areas:

  1. iPoint for Clients as part of master vend contracts, iPoint is used in a number of large NHS trusts for accessing invoices, ordering and filling shifts and vacancies, and managing electronic timesheets.
  2. iPoint for Candidates accessing payslips, managing electronic timesheets, managing availability, and search and booking into shifts.
  3. iPoint for Secondary Agencies accessing cascaded shifts, and managing and placing candidates.

Contribution: Requirements gathering, creative design, code structural architecture, database architecture, project management, design and development, syntax and code block testing, end user training and ongoing maintenance and management.

    It is used by a number of large NHS Trusts as a solution for managing their Shift based vacancies, Staffing and Timesheeting.
