Domain Blacklist – Online tools for testing your IP Address and Email

On attempting to find a host for this website, the first host I attempted to sign up with rejected my application as apparently my site was ‘blacklisted’. Backlisted? Are you sure? I said? Anyhows, it turns out that the standard IP for my domain registrars holding page was blacklisted! When I let my domain registrar know about this, they weren’t interested! Anyhows, I used the following tools to test this out, and by the way, this host chucked away some legitimate business by not checking this themselves!

Use the following tool to see if your domain (or shared IP where your domain is hosted) is Blacklisted:

.

You can also test email blacklists using http://mxtoolbox.com/index.aspx.
